car seats in spain

Hello wise MNetters. Does anyone know if taxis routinely carry car seats suitable for a 2 year old? Thanks.

Nope, we never seen one. The only time we ever got one was when I pre-booked an airport transfer but no they won't have them if you just get in a taxi queue at the airport.

We live in the Canary Islands and I've never seen them in taxi's unless pre-ordered and then that can't always be guaranteed.

No car seats in Spain. Legally taxi´s can carry children not in car seats but not sure if you would want to. We use them for short trips across town but not the motorway ie to and from airport. I would hire a car and book a seat. Hope that helps
