I've got to fly up north for a funeral tomorrow so shirt notice. I've sorted my flight and as it's only a day i'm not taking hold luggage.
Can I use any sort of clear plastic bag for my makeup?I'm thinking sandwich bag as that's all I've got.

Yes sandwich bags are fine - just as long as they can easily see into it, that's all that matters.

It supposed to be sealable, too - zip, for example..

If it's not sealable , they'll give you one. ( a bag I mean!)

Sandwich bag sometimes fine, btu check the size, as last time I went through an airport I was made to swap mine for a 'standard issue' one(at £1 ) as mine was 2 cm too big....

Astonishing isn't it? We flew to Manchester from Zurich without any problem, the return saw the Mancs asking for a pound for a polythene bag. My dh got rather irate and threw the suspect stuff in the bin. I can't remember what it was.
