Berwick- on- Tweed

We're going to Berwick for a week over Easter, and I am looking for some activities to keep us busy. Also if anyone knows of cheap places to eat out, that would be great. The DC are 10, 8 and 4.

Thanks

If anyone could tell me the best place to visit Hadrian's wall with an 8 year old Roman history enthusiast, that would be great.

I went to Berwick last September, and put a post on then when looking for ideas. It is here: - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/uk/811201-What-to-do-in-Northumbria-nr-Bewick-it-39-s

We had a brilliant time and went to Conundrum Farm, which I and my then 1.9yr old thought was brilliant. We also went to Honey Farm, Seahouses for a run around on the beach. We also went to the large bookshop in Alnwick on a rainy day.

Also enjoyed walk around the Berwick town walls and picnic looking out across the estury.

Lovely part of the world

You could take them to Alnwick Castle. It's where they filmed the Harry Potter fims (Hogwarts).

Alnwick Castle definitely on the list for DC as they are HP fans. Will checkout that link CheekyChops. Thanks
