Passport application form

Can anyone tell me what is the current version of the UK passport application form? I have one which I got from the post office ages ago and it says (in the right margin on the last page) 'Produced in the UK for Astron Document Services 06/08 020700'.

Is this the current version, or will I have to queue up tomorrow to get another one?

You can fill in most of the passport form online, then it gets posted to you to sign etc. I do it this way to save queueing in the PO.

Thanks, but that is too slow - it says that if you do that it adds a week to the process.

When my dh needed a new passport in a hurry, we downloaded the application form from the internet and he took it to Geneva with his photographs.

I've just got two passports back within 7 working days after using Check and Send. Well worth the £8 fee.

Check and Send is fab - mine came back rapidly with this service.
