Hi

Some of you may already know of The Fairyland Trust, we are a unique charity which helps children experience the excitement of real nature by drawing on tales of enchantment to ultimately educate them in the conservation of the environment.
We are a Norfolk based charity with a national reputation for introducing families to flowers, wildlife and trees through magical creations

This year our Fairy Fairy returns, on a new site, Holt Hall in Norfolk. Its a wonderful day out for the whole family and will run amidst a stunning 35 hectares of gardens, ancient woods and lakes over the late may bank holiday.

The Fair will feature nine of the our workshops including: Magic Wands, Magic Wings, Fairy Crowns, Fairy Gardens, Wildflower Fairies, Wizard Shields, Magic Potions, Fairy Books and Witches Pets.
A great day out for the entire family, other activities include Pixie Post office, storytelling, Pirate Fete, trails to the Fairy Queen, Cooking with Trolls with celebrity chef (and brave man!) Chris Coubrough, music, puppet shows plus craft and food stalls and much more. All of the activities take place either within one of the Trust?s beautiful medieval tents or outside in the woods. Children are encouraged to dress up if they like. Parents or carers need to be present.
Tickets are advised to be advance via www.fairylandtrust.org from 1st March 2010. Children £4.50, Adults £6.50, Under 3s free. Workshop prices vary from £4/£5
Prices on the door: children £5, adults £7.50. Any spare workshop spaces will be sold on the day on a first come, first served basis.
Sorry, no dogs to be brought on site whatsoever, with the exception of guide dogs.

oooh, we went to this several years ago when DD was into fairies. It really is a very lovely day out for little girls of a fairy age and refreshingly simple and uncommercial.

The sight of lots of little fairies in wellies and tutus dancing round a maypole and marching through a meadow led by a fiddler and the queen of the fairies was very special.

Swallow your cynism (sp?) and brace yourself for some intense sweetness, but if you have daughters aged 4ish to 7ish they will absolutely love this.
