Does anyone recommend anything calming for flying with my little ones?

Hi
I am flying out to Sweden with my toddler and baby.I have been flying a lot before but this time I'm flying on my own and I'm feeling a bit nervous and need something calming. I don't want to take anything strong for the flight and end up drowsy, but if anyone has ever found something natural and easy to cary that works, I'd be soooo grateful!
I've seen people on planes with these things of oil with a little rollerball to rub on and they always looks so relaxed. Where can I find them?

Sorry, not 100% sure where you get the rollerball thingy but could try BodyShop?

I have flown loads since littleun was about 8 wks old. It has always been on my own between England and Scotland to spend time with hubster who works away.

Don't panic. I have always found staff and often passengers very helpful- offering to help with pram, carry bags, hold littleun etc

Those rollerballs are very relaxing, I often travel with one. You can find them in most chemists so don't worry, you shouldn't have much trouble.

Enjoy your travels

Boots sell the Travel Rollerballs, I used to buy a Tisserand one but I've seen other brands as well

Bachs Rescue Remedy is pretty handy to have

Thanks for the reassurance.
You are right most of the air crew are very helpful - it's just the anxiety of it all. (And my two year old is going through the "terrible twos" )
Squigletpie you are very brave flying with your baby on your own!
Oldbraver, I have checked out the rollerballs you suggested on Tisserands website. I'm going to order 'Travel rollerball' - how handy is that! And they've got a lavender one as well...ooooh! And so many other lovely creams and things with essential oils. Hard to find these things in Sweden so I might have to order lots.x

Try Bach's rescue remedy- I gave it to my nervous MIL (without her knowledge ) last time we flew and she did seem to calm down!
