Driving to Marseille - where to stay en route?

We are thinking of driving through France this summer ending up in Marseille and looking for family friendly B & B's to stay in. We are 2 adults and 2 kids under 5.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Novotel every time! If you look on the Accor Hotels website you can enter your route and pick places on the way. We have stayed at Macon Nord, Lyon Nord and Dijon Sud. All fine and with swimming pools.

Thanks portofino I will have a look at that. Have you ever stayed in any traditional B & B's?

No, I have thought about it, but the reality is, when you are tired after a long drive you just want to pull off the motorway, have a shower and something to eat. Faffing around in the countryside looking for something more quaint would be the last thing on my mind. Novotels tend have pools, playgrounds and indoor playrooms. Kids bfast is free and evening meals (kids menu) are very reasonable.
