We're staying in central Paris (close to Champs Elysée) this weekend and can't find a restaurant that opens on a Sunday. Can anyone help?

Oh dear, now worried - came across your post doing search for best Paris restaurant recommendations as we are going to Paris for 1 night this sunday too!!!!!
Hope someone answers as I'll be mighty annoyed if we can't find somewhere decent to eat. Don't the Parisiens eat on a sunday then??!!

Most of them are open on Sundays. Why don't you go to Marais, plenty nice restaurants there, touristy, but less so than Champs Elysee.

What sort of restaurant are you after?

We sorted this out for ourselves. We went to Le Reminet, near to Notre Dame. Great food, lovely ambience etc. Shame there was an American Alpha-Male at the table - he did make us laugh (or do I mean snigger?)
