Hi

We are looking for a nice self catering (with garden) place near the beach in the Isle of Wight for August. Can anyone recommend anywhere child friendly as 3.8 year old asd and always running! Thanks

most places there on island are child friendly ( i am from there not long left for work in london)in sandown there are nice places i used to go cowell bay as they have hoilday flats bungerlows with grass out side and beach is just down slope where the beach you can built sand castles and run . if my friend and child were not living in my cottage i could of hired it to you . when your there is so much to do there is crazy golf in sandown of the beach and dinosaur land and zoo in sandown. you have gardens in shanklin which he can run and you can see the gardens, there is a place called blackgang c and then you have a place where you can make glass shapes with coloured sands from rocks and a cliff ride down to the beachj is fun. go on tourist board as they also tell you when the mini festival are on which are fun as we have a cider festival in a orchard and a garlic festival and it could be the boat race at cowes week which is good fun but take picnic as food places in cowes is a lot of money. ryde has nice beaches and nice ice cream shop that the best ever.
