help with list for packing.....

We are off to Cyprus in a few weeks and it?s our first time abroad with our 16month DD.

I?m tying to make a list of things to pack and need some help.

So far I?ve bought the obvious items such as insect repellent for kids, calpol, lots of sun cream, and UV swim outfits, swim nappies etc but now I?m getting stuck so wondered what everyone else found useful to take away with them ? any suggestions are welcome.

A good sunshade for both buggy and beach

Talc for removing sand from every orifice

babywipes
fold away bib
reins to use in restaurant high chairs

A snack box filled with cheerios, breadsticks, cheese, fruit etc for the plane

rope and pegs.... hang your washing/wet clothes out!

if self catering - a starter pack for when you arrive - tea bags sugar biscuits etc

Some sort of insect bite relief stick or spray.

Thanks for those so far guys - I've now already added talc, travel wash/pegs/string to my list ? keep em coming

that?s a good one with the bite relief - but is there one specifically for children as I haven?t seen one ? or could I just use an adult one (though surely it would be to strong?)

What about putting some fairy into a small bottle and taking it with you for any handwashing if that is what you mean by travel wash.
