Hope somebody from musnet can provide some good inputs for me. Am travelling to Ilfracombe in August (peak season of course) for a short family reunion....need somewhere cheap (ish) but nice to stay for me and DS (4 and a half) and DD whose 2 and a bit...any recommendations would be more than welcomed !

I stayed in a lovely place on Croyde a few years ago, Croyde Manor...

Croyde Manor is now a private residence....some property developer has bought it after the lovely old couple who ran it couldnt cope anymore

Where abouts do you want to stay?

There are a few holiday camps that have caravans you can rent....or else there are loads of B&B's in Ilfracombe. The hotels are obviously more costly.

Are you looking for accomodation in ilfracombe or the surrounding areas?

I live in Croyde and know Ilfracombe quite well so if you give me some ideas of the sort of thing you are looking for I can post more details for you.
