Holiday with 3yo - any tips

Have booked holiday cottage in UK for a week for DH, DD (3yo) & self. Having never holidayed with a little person in tow can I please ask more experienced mumsnetters for any tips on what we should take to entertain DD and generally make life easier on our hols. Thanks

find out where the local attractions are, parks, childfriendly places to eat so you aren't cooking all week, and takeaway menus and lots of wine for when lo is in bed

get a tesco delivery sent to the cottage for all your essentials.

Few new books and puzzles and some dvd's and LO will be fine.
