Valet parking at Birmingham Airport - anyone done this?

we get back late so was thinking of booking valet parking - is it really that easy as walking out of airport to your car? and the same with drop off someone collects your car right outside the terminal?

Haven't done at it at Birmingham have done it at Gatwick - on teh outward trip it worked just as it says.

On the return trip it took ages for the cars (there was a group of us travelling) to turn up and one of the cars had all the radio stations retuned and the passenger footwell was soaking wet so no idea where it had been while we were away.

Have used valet parking at Birmingham. Yes, you literally do step out of your car, stroll across the short stay car park and you are there. Used the NCP and APCOA versions of valet parking. Both fine.

TBH, if you book ahead, the short term car parks at Birmingham can be so cheap that I wouldn't have thought valet parking was worth it
