Just had to share my incredulation as to how well my littl man behaved on his 1st flight - only 2 hours from London to Spain but brilliant none the less.
Checked in buggy and car seat so had babybjorn on round Gatwick, he slept in that and woke up only when I had to attach the infant seat belt once boarded, fed him on take off, bounced him around and gurgled at him for about half an hour, he slept again until we were approaching landing so fed him again on landing! Just as we were taxiing to gate and he screamed for about 5 mins - the chap in front of us turned round in shock as he hadn´t even realised a baby was behind him.
Monarch were good - car seat carried in addition to baggage allowance and the maclaren travel bag fitted xlr and all the stuff we needed for the week so a giant suitcase on wheels and just under the 20kg baggage allowance (all the bumgenius nappies had to be carried in handluggage tho as wouldn´t fit!) so no extra charges there!
