Trunki and Ryanair

Will Ryanair accept trunki as cabin luggage? Am thinking of getting one but on one website it said trunki was 21cm which makes it 1 cm too big. Anyone successfully taken theirs on ryanair recently? And are they OK to open on the plane spacewise?

We didn't have a problem when we took two on RyanAir last summer. They didn't give them a second look - probably more hassle than it's worth for them.

Just beware that they are checking the size if bags a lot more now - reckon the staff are on commission! But they seem to target soft gym-type bags more than cases
