off to Austria skiing on Saturday for the first time ever. Do I need a passport picture for the ski lift card?

No, technology has taken over, long live the bar code . Where are you going (says Austria fan)?

orienteerer · 03/03/2010 20:38

.....or should I say microchip (bar code probably old speak).

Thanks, orienteer. I'm going to Oberau for a week with DS and DH. As I am a total beginner, I have booked lesson for the week. I am quite excited about it.

Have a great time, good choice going for a small village style resort.

Most are proximity passes these days, put the pass in a sleeve pocket and just brush past the sensor of your way through the gate.

Or have a six year with no sleeve pockets who needed to cock his leg at the bottom of every lift.
