Granada - family friendly hotel/ B&B anyone?

We're only staying for a couple of days en route to somewhere else. Has anyone stayed somewhere lovely but not too expensive..? Usually we book an apartment when we travel, but for a couple of days midweek I doubt that will work.

Tryp Albayzin does family rooms I've stayed in several Sol Melia chain hotels and have always been impressed. We stayed in the Melia Granada a few years ago which was central and very nice, but only just room for a cot.

Ta Portofino. I'll have a look though I think DH might have his heart set on a smaller place if we can find one. I will have to do some Googling. He's sorted the other half of the holiday, so it's my turn..

You must do a wander through the Albacin quarter for tapas. And visit the Alhambra definitely. It gets busy so worth booking tickets before hand. If you google you can book on line. It's a lovely city.

I've been to the Alhambra before and can't wait to go back. Great you've reminded me to book tickets, had forgotten how essential that is. Last time I was there, I was a poor thing and stayed in a hovel with a mate. Definitely not family friendly, that's for sure...
