Disneyland Paris again

So firstly I expected it to be cheaper (kids under 12 free etc) but it is quoting anything from 800 pounds to 1300 ish for 2 adults 3 under 12 and a baby does that sound right?

It appears that we can't stay in a Disney hotel? Anyone managed to do so? (I thought under 2s didn't count for occupancy) Any recommendations Thomas Cook explora has come up does anyone have any experience of this? How hard is it to get to and from the park with a pushchair?

On Mme Lindt recent thread you kept going on about breakfast in the park, is that for everyone or only those staying in Disney hotels?

Any other general advice

Thanks

Most of the Disney hotel rooms are set up for max occupancy of 2+2 so that may be why yours comes higher. There may be a limit on number of "free" chidlren per booking too. Also if it includes meals/passes for a few days £800 could be correct. What about travel and where are you getting your quotations from ? Sometimes you find better deals on a package than via the DLP website. Many of the other local hotels have a bus service or are easily accessible by train ( in Marne Le Vallee, Val d'Europe and Bussy St Georges) and transport is pushchair friendly. You can prebook character meals even if not staying on site.

Thanks LIZS
I googled disneyland Paris so one was official disney site they suggested 1,300 for March (non school holidays) excluded other meals. Did include passes
Another site came up with about 800 but it looked like you might need a car in practice to get there.

Any one any experience of the Explorers?

We paid 800chf so about £500 for 2 adults and 2 DC under 12yo. That was Cheyenne in Feb. What hotel are you looking at?

Tickets are included as is breakfast.

You can book breakfast in the park, in the Plaza before you go rather than having breakfast in the hotel. The breakfast was nicer in the Plaza than in the hotel, and you don't have to pay extra.

Thanks

I'm using your thread for advice.
We need a non-disney hotel I have too many children!! (unless I send dh and the oldest by themselves)

Hence Thomas Cook explorers

Your price seems a lot more reasonable did you book with DLP themselves?

There were a lot of great tips on that thread.

Yes, booked through DLP. Would you be cheaper to take two rooms in Cheyenne perhaps?

You can walk from Cheyenne to the park, we did. Only took the bus when we arrived and left as we had suitcases.

Leave space in your cases and your budget for shopping.

we are a 5 and you can get a 2 bedroom davey crocket 'lodge' (read caravan). that will suit you, or the disneyland hotel or (i think) the new york one will take 5. those latter 2 options are not cheap though.
