costa rica with school

anyone else had any experience of their children going to costa rica with school. bit worried about snakes and poisonous frogs

thank goodness the tsunami has not caused too many problems for those poor people ...except in japan which is one hell of a long way from the epeicentre.

Costa rica? Our school trips were exchange jobs. Kaiserslautern anyone?
I really don't think you have anything to worry about. DH is a teacher and trips are planned and risk assessed to the nth degree.

I would go/let my children go enthusiastically. Costa Rica is safe and one of the most amazing environments on the planet.

I'm sure the people taking kids there will have experience of avoiding poisonous frogs etc ..... It is in an earthquake zone with active volcanoes but they only make it better!
