Does anyone have any recommendations for good places to stay in south of France. We're looking for gites/apartments for a young family (children nearly 4 and 7 months) and two grandparents. Ideally they'd like a pool and to be at 10 miles from the sea (or nearer). Thanks

Hi there Dogonwheels!

Thanks SuSylvester, that is me! My parents have a fantastic child friendly villa which would fit your criteria totally. We have a small ad here on the Mumsnet Small Ads.

The villa is very popular and we have lots of repeat visitors who come back year after year and so we are already quite booked up. However, from the ages of your children, you don't sound as though you are tied to school hols which means you may be lucky! We have a special offer on from Sat 26th June to Sat 10th July see the small ad here for details or September is still available.

June/early July or September are perfect times to go to the South of France. The weather is fab, nothing is too busy and travel is much cheaper!

Just email us if there is anything you want to know.
