Occupying a 6 & 7 year old near Winchester

Need to meet up with some older rellies who live in Winchester, and want to avoid just 'going to theirs' (fairly high energy levels with dd & ds) so I'm looking for someplace we can meet for a few hours and have the kids entertained but not in a theme park way - cheap and cheerful if possible. Any ideas?

Otherwise when DH has spent a day entertaining the DS in Winchester while I was on business appts, he just took them to run around in front of the Cathedral and gawp at squirrels.

Round table was a total letdown!!!
