Holiday in California - Disney or not?

We're currently planning a trip to San Diego/LA at the end of March. We have two DDs (3.10 and 9mo)... is it worth going while they're this young?

Looking at Disney's site, I don't think DD1 will be able to enjoy many rides as she will be too little... but I know she will LOVE the princess stuff. Question is... is it worth it? Hotels pricey, and a little bit out of our way. Plus DH is a grumpy old sod when it comes to commercial things like this, so I'd have to put up with his moaning too!

Any advice from experienced disney-goers will be gratefully received.

TIA.

No it is not that worthwhile, I grew up near there. We chose not to take 22 month old DS to Disneyland 2 months ago. It will be a (unpleasant over-crowded with people) zoo, too, in the Easter holidays.

Sea World and the Zoo in SD would be good. Skip the Wild Animal Park it costs too much for what you get.
