DH has had a couple of jollys recently and also did quite an expensive course on his hobby recently ,Anyway the deal was that I would get time away in exchange. In 16 years of parent hood the only time I have had is the odd (3 or 4 in 16 years)night away plus work things and 4 days in US for brothers wedding.

Have just been offered good deal for dates at Ragdale Hall,I am desparate for a break, sometimes feel as if I am going mad ,have been on ADs for a bit.Is three days too long....seems very indulgent but also feel that if I go 2 days doesn't seem long enough to relax...help never done anything like this before.

It depends where you live but www.chewtonglen.com is lovely. There is an offer through the Times at the moment - 2 nights for the price of 1.

There are lots of other Spa Hotels too through this offer.

Chewton glen is lovely, expensive but worth it.

I would love to go for 3 days if I could afford it. It wouldn't bother me if I was on my own as I like my own company but I would miss ds.

Sounds like you deserve a treat. Enjoy.

probably depends on how long it takes you to get there? i think 2 nights / 3 long days would be good, but if you spend half a day travelling then maybe another night.
not sure where you are, but grayshott spa is fab www.grayshottspa.com
