Where to go for quiet beaches and mountains in May/ June ?

Dh and I always did hiking and cycling in the uk before ds. Now we want aholiday where we can do abit of beach/ pool and some good walks. Was thinking of maybe menorca or Corsica. We've never done a family holiday like this so any help would be appreciated. Ta

Corsica is great. Budget?

Not sure on budget yet. We're not skint , we're normally midprice people. Is there any area you'd suggest inparticular ?

The eastern end of Crete (around Sitia) has all you mention. It's less fashionable than western Crete but beautiful.

I went to the Nice area at the end of may and it was almost deserted. Surprisingly beautiful too.

Northern bit of Costa Brava... Gerona and up to Andorra. Beach bits would be Aguia Blava, Tamariu, Llfranc.
