Which ....Holiday Insurance (Annual Family)?

Ive looked on the moneysaving expert site and to be honest alot of the very cheap companies offer very low payback ie. personal money £200 but £100 excess. Cancellation up to around £2,000 (holiday in May is way over that!), personal belongings £200 per item up to £500 - camera is worth more than £200.

Can anyone please recommend a decent insurance that covers you well.

I can't remember what the actual payback is but we use Insure and Go. We don't have the cheapest option, we have the Gold or Platinum one, with no excess and it is about £90 a year for a family of 4

First things first, I would check that your bank accounts do not carry travel insurance as part of the package?

I was buying insurance for years until I read the small print on the bank account and found i was covered anyway. Did the same with the AA

We use Axa-PPP for our annual policy.

I have Citybond- Premier for 4 -Europe cover annual its about £110. They have just paid out £200 in travel delay for Xmas flights and quick as well.

nope you are right. Looks like you have to pay a fee for the ones which come with extras.
