Playgrounds in Chiswick?

I have to visit an elderly relative in Chiswick this week (lives not too far from Chiswick House) and as I will have the kids in tow I could do with taking them out for a run-around as her flat is not very child-friendly....

Does anyone know if the Dukes Meadows play area has re-opened and if not, is there anywhere else within easy walking distance or that I can park next to (as relative is not up to walking too far...)?

Thanks

i live at dukes meadow and they are building a really big adventure playground next to paddling pool but it hasnt opened yet. though it was meant to in feb at some time i think the snow has delayed it slightly.

chiswick house grounds has just opened a new cafe. it now has a childs play area next it it. - really needed i think.

we use the big playground next to chiswick park tube station. at the bottom of acton lane/opposite murco petrol station.

Thanks for that info Kyle. Shame that Dukes Meadow isn't open yet but will probably be raining anyway so will make no odds! Agree that Chiswick House is long overdue a childrens play area. In general don't you think Hounslow is pretty poor at providing children's playgrounds?

One of my reasons for starting this thread was in the hope that there were a few more hidden away that I didn't know about but doesn't seem to be the case. I guess maybe we are just lucky where we live that we have several within a short walk...
