London at Easter

Thinking of having a couple of days in London at Easter because DS is desperate to go to Madam Tussauds etc, but before I book flights - will everything be open on Easter Sunday?

We were in Manchester last Easter, and I remember being amazed because the shops were shut.

I am sure everything is open, cant remember the tourist places being closed, but if you look online you will get a definite answer.

BTW - where are you travelling from?

I think most places will be open but you should book before you come anyway because you won't want to stand in 2 or 3 hour (I'm not kidding) queue.

I think you can get a pass thing that covers Tussauds, London Dungeon and other things too.

Thanks - good idea, Squeaver. I'll look into that. Had a look at accommodation, and I'm rapidly going off the idea - looks like it is going to be pretty busy that weekend.

HAA, travelling from Glasgow. Easter's not really a big holiday up here. We don't even get Good Friday off.

Shops are closed on Easter Sunday in London but attractions should be open. Check out Dolphin Square in Pimlico for accommodation - self catering and B & B.
