European airports with easy public transport to go somewhere nice...

DH refuses to hire a car.

Been to Nice with a 14 month old and that was fab as easy airport bus transfer into town then had a fab week in and around town or took the train to various places for days out.

Now got 2 boys in tow so a city break no longer an option - need pools, sand, playgrounds etc (thinking one of those big European campsites would be an option)
Don't think coach transfers safe with a 3 & 1 year old so airport buses where they can be strapped into a buggy or a train would be perfect.

Any suggestions??????

If you like France look at Biarritz. You may have to face travelling Ryan air but the airport is actually in Biarritz. It is a small city with all the facilities but also has a fab beach, loads of playgrounds, good bus services to other towns, one of those tacky road trains the kids love, etc.

Biggest downside is cost, it can be quite pricey especially in the summer.
