We did a few years ago. It was fine - everything ran smoothly. It was cold though so make sure that you pack very warm clothing - a lot of the Europeans were in ski stuff. And don't forget to take sunglasses - I was surprised that I needed them but when the sun comes out it is blinding!

Hi, it snowed last year when we were there but everything continued to run smoothly. However, it was BITTERLY COLD. Bring thermals or ski clothes. There is so much standing around in queues or even watching the parades and it's miserable to be cold.

It snowed slightly when we went last year. It was freezing, there were loads of people in ski wear.

I've never been so cold.
