Barcelona - hotel recommendation please!

DH, DS (2) and me (and 30 week) bump are thinking of going to Barcelona for a long weekend 5-8 March.

Can someone recommend a really great hotel? I would stay in an apartment, but I'd rather have the facilities of a hotel, i.e. swimming pool etc. Ideally somewhere with a separate room for DS (interconnecting room or suite I guess). Maybe waterfront? DH has a penchant for 'design' hotels...

We stayed here on our last break before ds - was fab, was #1 on tripadvisor.

Lovely underground pool, room service etc, not sure whether it would be any good with a toddler certainly not my 2.8 yo ds!

My twin sister and I stayed here in March 08. And it was AMAZING. We loved it!
