Hiya! We're just starting to look into a holiday for next Summer. Bit short on money atm so want as much time as possible to pay for it. Looking at booking as soon as the May 2011 holidays are announced. We've got a budget of (about) £2000, but that is for everything, flights, hotel, spending money etc. Ideally we'd like to go all inclusive, and have been looking at Spain/Italy/France, but definitely open to suggestions! Will have 3.2 year old DS, and 1.5 year old DD with us. Would ideally like to stay for 10 nights. Wont be hiring a car, so needs to be in quite a central location, but don't want to be anywhere too touristy IYKWIM. Any suggestions/advice? Thanks in advance.

By booking early you should be able to get a free child place...

Although by booking your own flights and hotel you can get some deals that are fantastic. onthebeach.com and alpharooms are great for hotels, and children are usually free.

If you want to book flights and hotel separately, then you'll have to wait to book the flights as they wont be available just yet.

Canaries is a safe bet for May - we usually go beginning of May. 2 years ago we went to Playa Blanca is lovely, Princes Yaiza is fab but quite £££, Rubicon is also nice.

We went to Tenerife last year - stayed at the los gigantes spa and suite which was fab - all inclusive, really clean, amazing food, and as it was a suite we had a seperate bedroom to put ds in so that we didnt have to sit in the dark after 8pm - I think you can book into there for about £600 for a week all inc, obviously flights and transfers will be extra.

Best thing to do is have a look on tripadvisor, as they have reviews of all hotels.

Oh and I would say a week would be long enough with 2 toddlers for your own sanity
