Agadir - suitable for children?

Has anyone been to Agadir? And would you say its suitable for a 7, 5 and 3 year old. We are looking to go in September so weather is a bit cooler. Went to marrakesh last year (just me and dp) and loved it. Not sure if Agadir will be a bit full on for the children.

Went years ago so can't comment, as no doubt changed - but check out the sea fog (can remember not being able to see the sea for 5 out of 7 days!!

Also went a few years ago...not much to do there at the time and we didnt even have children to think about or accomadate..but ditto on the sea fog. Weather was over cast and foggy for most of the holiday!

I've only spent one night there on a driving tour of Morocco and found it to be very chilled. We are going for a week self catering in March and it will be our first holiday with dd aged 2. Not like Marrakesh at all, much less hassle etc. Although I love Marrakesh.

We're hiring a car for the week as there's not much to see and do in Agadir itself. Going to mix sandcastle days for dd with driving into the hills days for the grown ups.
