Specifically Naama Bay?

Have found an offer on great hotel, but was wondering what it was like?

We have a 3 year old, so although we like nice hotels, we need to be able to go for a wander around town/beach/few things to do IYKWIM?

Are you able to go off in Egypt the same way you would in Spain? ((paranoid emoticon))))

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, I went in April about 7 yrs ago. I think its developed quiet a bit since. There are some good hotels and I found the food good. Read trip-advisor website to check opinions.
Flight are good, you need a visa but you can get it on arrival.
No jabs but it was extremely hot and impossible to walk around at midday, hardly any humidity. The sand you couldnt walk on so you have to watch baby as you will burn very quick. Sun suits would be a must and dyhydation very important. I burnt through my swimming costum (bum)!!
Watch the belly situation by keeping hands very clean especially after handling money and watch the ice etc.
I was very slim when I went and pale and blonde - I was hastled from the moment I got off the plane. Even so these men were harmless and very friendly.
Also look at the holiday company OTbeach.com these people can get great rates.
