Sardinia Help!!

Going to sardinia in August for 3 weeks - went last year and loved it - would prefer not to hire a car but struggling to find out how to get from Olbia to south of Island - websites re buses/trains are very confusing! Also need a hotel for 2 adults and 3 children on 14th August in Olbia - any suggestions??? If so - book me in lol lol

Where in the South are you going?

Going to villagio Mori - near Muareva??? On south east coast.

There is one direct train a day to Cagliari - it takes 4 hours. Yuu would then need to take a bus (ARST) from Cagliari to Muravera - 3-4 hours.

Is there no bus direct from Olbia? How do you know this???

Also is a sunday ...

I've been a few times. The info I have is from the Lonely Planet guide. On Sundays buses are few and far between.

Please remember that it is possibe to hire a car for 24 hours from one destination - and then drop it off at the next. That could work.

Was £300 tho - can hire for 3 weeks for £550! Crazy!

Blimey - that is bonkers! Taxi would be cheaper!
