What's a lovely way to spend a day within 50m radius of B'ham?

I need inspiration!

Spending the weekend with DP (it'll be just the two of us), and wanting to do/see something other than a bucket of popcorn at the cinema!

Can anyone offer any assistance?

Warwick Castle is good, and you can buy the tickets with Tesco clubcard vouchers. Stratford also nice - if you want to do a whole weekend in the area I can give you some more ideas. If you like cooked breakfasts, you absolutely must go to the Airfield Cafe at Wellesbourne on the Sunday morning and have their full english, it's all local produce, nice big portions and you can sit outside if it's nice and watch the planes taking off.

Head for Cheltenham, for a nice day of shopping and lunch. Book into a swanky hotel. Take a trip into the Cotswolds for a beautiful frosty walk.

Oh, and eating Mexican and Indian and English (fry ups)!

Warwick Castle is brill, although i see it is just the two of you, so maybe not? We are in Newcastle (on Tyne) and went last year, prob one of the best family days out we have ever had

GeeWhizz, was about to post that! Voucher also for the Sea Life Centre (One in B'ham).

Just seen this is for a few weeks ago, but the vouchers would be good for days out with the kids.
