Any ideas for a nice family holiday, my ds's will be 12 and 2 by August. DS1 really benefits from activity holidays - e.g. last year we cycled / camped in Brittany, followed by a gite week, but I think he found the gite week too quiet. He really enjoyed a Featherdown Farm holiday we had in Cornwall though, which was pretty quiet too.
I've heard people rave about Center Parcs so I had a look at their website and I can def. see the attractions from ds1's pov with all the water sports and whatnot on offer, but I get a bit weirdly scrunchy at the idea of tons of people / package holiday vibe - not sure how accurate this is though. It's 20 per cent off if you book now, which is attractive!
ds2 is generally a v jolly baby and easy to please, he will just like being part of whatever else is going on. Think dp would like to have stuff to do, too. I am the only one who would happily lie on the grass staring into silent space for 2 weeks.
Any ideas?
