Hi, we are thinking about going to Tenerife in Apr/May this year with a 4 year old and elderly inlaws. Can anyone recommend a good location close to the beach we arenot sure about about a hotel or a villa. Thankyou.

IMO south side of the island is nicer than the north.
Personally I would look at being in Los Cristianos (sp.)

If you might consider going to Las Palmas instead I was just there at the Hotel Melia Las Palmas which was right on the beach. Lovely sand and warmish water, even in January! It's supposedly a five star but not luxurious, but you can't beat the location.
