Does my DD have to be over 5 to qualify for us to get one of these?

I think that it is still possible to get one and use it, as long as we pay for a seat for her. This works out cheaper for us than just paying for two adults at full fair. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

No she doesn't have to be over 5. I got a railcard when DS was under 5 for this reason.
