Easter - Algarve vs Cyprus

Hello, We are thinking of going to Algarve or Cyprus for first week of Easter holidays with DC 3.5 and 6. DH would like somewhere with golf. We've never been to Cyprus and for some reason it doesn't appeal. Has anyone been to Aphrodite Hills Intercontinental in Cyprus, Pine Cliffs Sheraton in Algarve or any other suggestions. Is the weather risky in Algarve in early April? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Aphrodite Hills is lovely. My dad played golf there a couple of years ago and said it was one of the best courses he has ever played on. Cyprus at Easter is VVV expensive as the Cyps celebrate Easter in a huge way (bigger celebration the Xmas). The weather would be very pleasant! I have never been to the Algarve.
