Hi
My mum has decided to treat the family(grandma,4 adults,5 children age 5-12)Easter 2011 for 1 week.
Requirements are:

Warm(which country at this time of year-no more than 4hrs)
4-5* hotel (half board/all inclusive)
Activities for kids(clubs,tennis)
Good food
Places to go out in the evening.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

didn't want this one to go unanswered....

i always end up sounding like a broken record, but we are v happy with the princesa yaiza hotel in playa blanca lanzarote - going back for the 3rd easter in a row this year.

We like it because:-

4 hour flight
short airport transfer (20 mins?)
great rooms (1 and 2 bed suites - all well equipped with kitchenettes and v spacious)
great breakfast buffet
good catering for lunch and dinner in the hotel (although dinner rather pricey)
kids playgrounds suitable for all age groups
5 pools - 2 for kids
softplay area for kids
kids club for over 3's (we've never used it but might do this time - evening disco for kids good though)
great location - 10 mins walk to marina one way and 10 mins to older resort the other - both have good range of restauarants and shops and are reached via promenade with no cars
mini market over the road sells good range of stuff
easy drive to national park with volcanos which is good fun
cheap car hire if you want to explore

i always shop around and then end up booking through sovereign.

it is pricey - £3k for 8 nights B&B for a family of 4 - but I think it is well worth it.
