Not many short hall destinations are warm in winter - I hear they have snow in Seville - Spain.

Canary Islands are best bet.

If you are going in Summer - C'an Picafort is very child friendly if you can get a free child place - in Majorca.

If you want to go now, we went to Lanzarote 2 wks ago and it was lovely and warm - could swim in the sea (if swimming pool make sure it's heated though!). Did budget flights and villa separately - try googling lanzaroteluxury villas (?) - had lovely holiday.

Lanzarote's ideal, especially Costa Teguise. There are quite a few UK-style pubs, but also some decent Spanish restaurants as well. We stayed here:

They speak passable English and are very friendly to Spanish speakers.
