Carnac - its the site with all the menhirs and standing stones etc - really cool and you can do an asterix tie-in.

When we went we had really good fun trying to find them all - some are in really strange unvisited places.

I'd forgotten Carnac! Wnt there when I was 12 and thought it was great. I want to go to Huelgoat as well to see the Trembling Rock as I've good memories of that from the same holiday. Will have a good persuse of that Wiki link, thanks.

Dinan is a really tremendous medieval city. Very interesting and absolutely beautiful.

We were in Normandy 2 years ago adn our kids (then 8, 6, 4) loved Mt. St. Michel. In fact we were there for about 6 hours. Then we went to "alligator WOrld" or somewhere like that close by and it was also fab!

and dinan is lovely with the best bakeries

The alligator place is on the road up to Mont St Michel, we were there last year with 4 kids.
Loved Dinan and enjoyed street markets in Dol de Bretagne.
