I am considering the possibility of going over to france for three weeks in the summer hols, although due to finances it would have to be a private owner static or cottage - max £4-500 per week.

not too far from aiport - max 1hr drive, as will need taxi/transfer

in small village, near to town, ie. a few family friendly things to do within walking distance

the possibility of going a little further affield for a day out - max 1hr away
