KEYCAMP - ROME - Camp Fabulous experience anyone?

Hello all,

I am very tempted to book a holiday to this site in Rome and wondered if anyone had experience of it.

we went last july.

Good points
*absolutely fab kids pool made out of a spongy material with small slides, and big slides.
*brilliant weather - 30 degrees + but as pool is on a hill there is a lovely breeze.
*trampolines in site
*Eurocamp caravans were brand new year so amazingly clean and new.
*good bus route into rome
*great take out pizza place on site
*Eurocamp rep great
*big site which didnt feel crowded even in july
*All toilets in shower blocks were immaculate

Bad points (for us)
*kids club poor, and no english spoken
*restuarant on site expensive and food very average
*reception staff most unhelpful

• few english fmilies so kids were a bit lonely

Thanks for this, I was a bit worried about food on site and the journey into Rome. I want to go into this with my eyes open. I think I will go and book now!!
