Beaches resorts - worth the extra money compared to other AI kid friendly caribbean holidays????

Looking at booking family holiday for June 2010, travelling with 2 yr old and 4 yr old. We've done both Caribbean AI and Sandals pre-kids but don't know which way t jump with the kids.

Price diff is really big but on the other hand if it's worth it.............don't want to go all the way there and be disappointed.

Ideally we are seeking;

Beach and pool options (not just pool)
More than one restaurant (not just buffet restaurant)
Good kids entertainment in evenings (not just big stage show around pool...)
Short tranfer times from airport

Any help really appreciated!
