My dc are 6,6 and 5 so want to take advantage of the under 7's go free thing before it's too late. What exactly is the deal with that?

Does the package on the website include travel?

Is booking on the website the cheapest way?

Do you need to stay in a Disney hotel(albeit the cheapest) to get the full experience?

Many thanks we need to do this cheaply so want to get the best deal I can without spoiling the trip, also don't like being ripped off iykwim.

Many TIA

Doesn't normally include travel and you can easily stay off site or in a partner hotel rather than a Disney one as you spend so little time there. Definitely shop aroudn if you need a package with travel.

Hi, can only give you a perpsective on the Disneyland hotel. Went in Jan last year and have booked for Easter again. It's expensive but worth every penny. The prices vary a lot depending on the day you go e.g I've booked for 1 April and to go 2 April would have been £1700 more expensive so keep checking various dates. Hotel is right at the entrance to the park, buffet breakfast is huge and varied. I made up rolls to take for lunch and filled up juice bottles etc. Characters are outside the restaurant each morning and, at 4pm, they come down the main staircase and do a little dance routine in the foyer with the kids. The location is superb. You can be back in the hotel in minutes, if the kids fancy a rest. Would highly recommend it.

My dc are 6,6 and 5 so want to take advantage of the under 7's go free thing before it's too late. What exactly is the deal with that? - THIS TENDS TO RUN FOR VARIOUS AGES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, BASICALLY IF THEY SHARE A ROOM WITH AN ADULT THEY GET FREE HOTEL STAY, BREAKFAST AND PASSES TO THE PARK. NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY FOR DISNEY (OR AFFILIATED) HOTELS

Does the package on the website include travel? NOT USUALLY, BUT YOU CAN BOOK THE TRAVEL THROUGH THEM AS WELL - ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN TOLD ITS NORMALLY CHEAPER TO DO IT YOURSELF. AN EXCEPTION IS WHEN THEY BRING OUT THE KIDS STAY PLAY AND TRAVEL FOR FREE OPTION IF YOU ARE GOING BY EUROSTAR.

Is booking on the website the cheapest way? I DO KNOW PEOPLE WHO PHONE THE HOTELS DIRECT AND SAY THEY GET A BETTER DEAL BUT HAVE NOT TRIED THAT YET.

Do you need to stay in a Disney hotel(albeit the cheapest) to get the full experience? NO, BUT WE STAYED IN THE SANTA FE AND THERE WERE DEFINITE ADVANTAGES TO BEING ON SITE: CHARACTER MEET AND GREETS IN THE HOTEL EVERY MORNING - YOU WILL REALISE WHAT AN ADVANTAGE THIS IS WHEN YOU SEE THE QUEUES IN THE PARK! ALSO BEING ABLE TO WALK TO AND FROM THE PARK AND NOT DO THE BUS SCRUM.

Many thanks we need to do this cheaply so want to get the best deal I can without spoiling the trip, also don't like being ripped off iykwim.

Many TIA

WE WENT LAST OCTOBER FOR JUST ONE NIGHT AND LOVED IT SO MUCH WE ARE GOING FOR A WEEK IN JUNE! WE HOPE TO STAY IN THE SEQUOI LODGE THIS TIME AS IT HAS A POOL. IF YOU WANT MORE DISNEY ADVICE GO TO THE DISBOARDS.COM WHICH HAS A VERY USEFUL DISNEYLAND PARIS FORUM.
