Wimbledon, Gay Pride, Live8 and getting across London today

We want to go to a party in Peckham today at lunchtime. We live near Wimbledon (which means we know how to dodge most of that traffic) and our usual route takes us past Clapham Common and through Brixton.

Is Gay Pride on Clapham Common?

Anyone know of a traffic advice line so that I can avoid traffic hot spots?

Poor dh driven to work this morning - goodness knows how long it will take
