Have you been? What did you think? Considering going at half term in may.

Have been had a marvellous time, fantastic beach short cycle ride away, little steam railway just outside the parc. This is not a traditional CP as it is one that they bought a few years ago so accomodation is slighlty different (3 storey town house with spiral iron staircase was interestig with a toddler) and swimming pool was good but not as good as CP's usual. That said we still had a great time.

Thanks for your post Dadinstead. That doesn't sound good, the iron staircase (got a toddler).

Swimming pool has been redone according to website.

Would you not recommend with a toddler then?

Seem to recall stair gates and we had a 6 mo and a 3 yo with us, we coped - not ideal but we had a good holiday. May also depend on size of house - we were in an 8 bed with friends.

Port Zelande is great. Lovely little multi coloured town houses, nice set of restaurants and a few shops, lovely beach nearby and boating on the lake in the middle of the complex. I thought the pool was really good when we went about 6 years ago. The only prob is it's quite a long way to drive.

I'll have another look at the accomodation layout.

It's not too bad a drive if you do harwich to hook of holland but the drive to harwich is 4 and a half hours for us. If only tesco still did north sea ferries on its clubcard deals!

Thanks for posts.
