i think so....once they are 2 thats it ,they can take full luggage allowance too.t 2 they have their own seat. whether it 's a big person or a little one...dosent matter. I am a single mum with 2 boys who are now 17 and 21.5 so i know where you are coming from. its bloody expensive, being a single mum

If you're flexible with dates, you might find flights so cheap that the price for 2 of you is less than you might have paid just for yourself. Use skyscanner to compare loads of flight prices.
Do you want a hotel or apartments? Self catering or full board? Will have alook for you if you want.

Here are a couple of options I found:

  1. www.onthebeach.co.uk does some good prices for flights/hotels. I found a holiday for a total cost of £265 for 1 week in June flying from Luton to Costa Brava staying in a 1 bed apt in Lloret de Mar.
Alpha rooms also does well priced holidays.
  1. Using skyscanner I found a flight in June to Costa Brava for £93 total (excluding hold luggage). You could then book accomodation separately. If you're happy not to be in a complex, you could use owners direct or holiday rentals to find an apartment.
