whuch airport are you flying into? Think its probably the new one that opened recently? just giving you a heads up as some people like myself would unknowingly tell you about the ones v close to the older airport (older airport is don muang) if its a stopover would find out the name of your airport and post again - the two aiorports are on the far side of the huge city from each other!

eek, thanks! the code for airport is BBK, but think will rummage on hotels.com as well

If it is Suwanaboom (sorry phoenetic spelling) probably your closest decent hotel would be the Novotel Bangna. It is about a 20 minute drive from the airport, but clean and not a knocking shop.

I've been racking my brains, the road that the Novotel is on is Srinakarin.
